Young and beautiful, she looked at the life ahead
With hope and optimism, but a life was planned for her instead
A loveless marriage, with a distant stranger
Arranged by her family, she decided was not for her
She had given her heart, to the love of her life
But she was was to life her life with a stranger, meeting all expectations as a wife
She always aregereted if she once listened to her heart, and not her parent's voice
She would simply be happy in falling in love, With a man of her choice
The consequence of her love, was so precious to her
Was shame on her family, and death for the dishonour
So she was forced to risk her life
& just assaulted like a slave in the name of a wife
Her cries for help, will sadly be unheeded
The cruellest punishments, for the love she needed

Her parents wanted to arrange her life
And cursed the love of her life
Her parents took the meaning off her beautiful life

She wanted to live her life
With the love of her life, make her safe in paradise
Let the so called "God" protect her in the afterlife
What sense does it make when something doesn't make u happy
& its not a day or 2, its a life of compromise & of chappy
Well its not her, or her family to be blamed, its the society
She's just another prey in the hands of sobriety
This seems to be a plague going around with a lot of people
Senseless decisions are made based on families in a temple
Why cant they just plain understand, its not the family that it matters
Do they even have the sense to sit & think about their children's platter?
All the families can come up with is what the society will think about them
If they really want to live for the society, just say the word "Ahem"
Its really not advicible to judge a person by his caste, job or family
Cos what it all matters is what he/she means to ur child & can love your child madly
